Houlihan Lokey is pleased to announce that Keylane Group B.V. (Keylane), a leading European provider of mission-critical, core SaaS platforms for the insurance and pension industry, and a portfolio company of Waterland Private Equity Investments B.V. (Waterland), has been acquired by Pollen Street Capital Ltd. (Pollen Street). The transaction closed on 1 November 2024.

Keylane is a leading European provider of robust, configurable, and customer-centric SaaS platforms for the insurance and pension industry. Headquartered in Utrecht, Netherlands, Keylane provides services to more than 225 customers in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, Norway, and Switzerland. Keylane’s end-to-end pension and insurance software sits at the core of its client’s operations and covers the entire value chain from product development and marketing, underwriting, sales, and distribution to policy and pension admin, claims admin, collections, and disbursements.

Waterland is an independent private equity firm that invests in European companies across various sectors. The company operates 130 investment professionals across 13 offices in 11 countries.
