Houlihan Lokey Advises Scout Surface Solutions
Houlihan Lokey is pleased to announce that Scout Surface Solutions LLC (Scout) has acquired Kinetic Pressure Control Ltd. (KPC).
Headquartered in Houston, Texas, Scout is a leading provider of completions services and equipment to the oil and gas industry across North America and the Middle East. Through its proprietary and patented surface systems, Scout provides rental solutions that are mission-critical to the completion of a well. Scout specializes in frac fluid delivery systems, including Monobore missile systems, zipper manifolds, frac trees, and flexible hoses.
Headquartered in Houston, Texas, KPC is a leading provider of proprietary pressure control technologies to the global offshore and onshore oil and gas industry, specializing in pressure and flow control solutions. KPC has developed a suite of patented and mission-critical products that significantly reduce the probability of high-cost failures and lower the total cost of operations for E&P operators across drilling, completion, and production activities.
The combined company will offer solutions and systems in applications like continuous frac, pressure control, pad automation, and control systems. On a combined basis, Scout and KPC will employ more than 300 people and operate 10 service and manufacturing facilities in the U.S. and the Middle East, including a significantly enhanced presence and footprint in Saudi Arabia.
Houlihan Lokey served as the financing advisor to Scout and assisted in arranging, structuring, and negotiating the financing. This transaction highlights Houlihan Lokey’s expertise and continued success in advising market-leading energy services and equipment businesses.
