Houlihan Lokey is pleased to announce that Terras Tiefbau Gruppe (Terras), a portfolio company of funds advised by AUCTUS Capital Partners (AUCTUS), has completed a refinancing to support its growth strategy through buy-and-build.

Founded in 2020 and headquartered in Montabaur, Germany, Terras is a platform for civil engineering firms, particularly providing infrastructure services across Germany. With its c. 640 employees and comprising nine independent companies with shared back-office resources, the company covers a broad service offering, including excavation work, road work, earthwork, asphalt work, special engineering, hydraulic engineering, sewage work, etc., Terras caters to both public and industrial clients in Northern, Western, and Southern Germany. The company has formed the ideal framework for successfully integrating add-ons into the group to continuously expand services along the entire civil engineering value chain to create a construction segment independent market leader.

Based in Munich, Germany, and founded in 2001, AUCTUS is an independent investment company founded by entrepreneurs investing in opportunities from small to very large companies in the middle-market segment, either as new platforms or as add-on acquisitions to existing platforms.
