Mr. Strassner is a Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Oil & Gas Group, where he covers midstream and alternative energy infrastructure clients. He has nearly a decade of experience in energy investment banking and more than a decade of experience in the oil and gas and renewables industries. Mr. Strassner is based in the firm’s Houston office.
Mr. Strassner has significant experience across the energy investment banking industry, including engagements spanning buyside and sellside M&A, private capital raises, initial public offerings, follow-on equity offerings, and high-yield offerings. These engagements have spanned upstream and midstream oil and gas, as well as the renewables sector, including renewable natural gas, sustainable aviation fuel, biofuels, hydrogen, and carbon capture and storage.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Strassner worked in the Oil & Gas group at UBS, and before banking, he worked for Contanda Terminals, a sponsor-owned midstream infrastructure company, and KDM Energy, a family-owned, privately held E&P company.
Mr. Strassner holds a B.A. from Patrick Henry College and an MBA from the Jones School of Business at Rice University.
