Mr. Bansal is a Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Portfolio Valuation and Fund Advisory Services practice within the firm’s Financial and Valuation Advisory business. He is based in the firm’s Mumbai office.
Mr. Bansal specializes in the valuation of alternative investments for funds, family offices, companies/corporates, and governments across Asia and Europe. In his role, he assists his clients with periodic valuation and portfolio monitoring cycles, establishing robust valuation policies and best practices, valuation committees, and audit processes. Mr. Bansal also performs valuations of private equity, private credit, distressed, and special situation investments, alongside energy and infrastructure assets, structured products, NAV and GP financings, and early-stage investments.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Bansal was a Vice President within the Portfolio Valuations and Alternative Asset Advisory practice at Kroll (formerly Duff & Phelps) in London. Earlier, he was an Analyst in the Valuation Advisory practice at EY in Mumbai.
Mr. Bansal holds a Master of Finance from the University of Cambridge.
