Mr. Kedia is a Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Transaction Advisory Services practice within the firm’s Financial and Valuation Advisory business, specialising in accounting and financial reporting advisory and office of the CFO solutions. With more than 16 years of professional experience, he provides strategic corporate clients, private equity sponsors, and portfolio company boards with high-impact financial reporting advisory services. Mr. Kedia’s expertise spans private market M&A, restructuring, liquidations, spin-offs, and divestitures. He is based in the firm’s London office.
Partnering closely with corporate executives, boards, and deal teams, Mr. Kedia supports clients across the capital markets spectrum pre- and post-close. He has a proven track record of helping organisations navigate complex financial reporting and compliance requirements resulting from acquisitions, carve-outs, and group-wide reorganisations, including U.S. public filings, Form 20-F, and SOX reporting. Additionally, Mr. Kedia frequently provides crucial interim finance leadership during post-acquisition integration, restructuring, and PE exit-readiness initiatives.
Throughout his career, Mr. Kedia has audited and advised on numerous M&A transactions for both strategic and financial buyers, delivering pragmatic, solution-oriented guidance. His capabilities cover critical office of the CFO areas, including purchase price accounting, GAAP conversions, revenue recognition, lease accounting, asset and goodwill impairments, and going-concern evaluations under highly distressed scenarios.
Prior to Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Kedia held key positions in Deloitte’s Private Capital Audit and Assurance practice and worked with KPMG member firms in India, serving U.S.-listed multinational clients. Most recently, he served as a finance leader at Petra Management (a PE group based in London), working directly with boards, lenders, and CROs to guide organisations through distressed-asset situations and complex restructurings, and to prepare portfolio companies for Exits.
Mr. Kedia holds a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting, from Savitribai Phule Pune University. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant with The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and holds a Certificate in Corporate Finance from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment in London.
