Mr. Nono is a Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Technology Group, where he focuses on M&A and capital‑raising advisory for technology companies, with a particular emphasis on public safety and state and local government markets. His extensive transaction experience includes sellside and buyside M&A, capital raises, corporate divestitures, and strategic initiatives. Mr. Nono is based in the firm’s Chicago office.
Mr. Nono’s notable transactions include the sales of Brycer to TA Associates, Arroweye Solutions to CPI Card Group, SpringFour to C&R Software, Wellworks For You to RiverGlade Capital, Navigate Wellbeing Solutions to McCarthy Capital, TSG to Advent International, Procare Software to Warburg Pincus, Paymetric to Vantiv, Trintech to Summit Partners, Velocity Solutions to H.I.G. Capital, REPAY to Corsair Capital, Santa Barbara Tax Products Group to Green Dot, and Meritus Payment Solutions and Global Merchant Advisors to Optimal Payments. He also advised on the acquisition of NMI by Francisco Partners; the acquisition and fairness opinion of Cantaloupe Systems by USA Technologies; and the divestiture of Beanstream from Digital River to Bambora. Mr. Nono’s capital markets experience includes lead-left follow‑on offerings and PIPE transactions for USA Technologies, as well as the initial public offering of Bill.com and the initial public and follow‑on offerings of EVO Payments.
Previously, Mr. Nono was a Director at Waller Helms Advisors, which was acquired by Houlihan Lokey in 2024. While there, he advised both public and private technology companies. Prior to Waller Helms Advisors, Mr. Nono worked in several investment banking roles for William Blair in its Technology practice, advising growing payments (integrated, unattended, gateway), banking technology, and software companies. Before William Blair, he worked in technology roles for T. Rowe Price and Affiliated Computer Services.
Mr. Nono holds a Laurea (bachelor’s degree), with First Class Honors, in Engineering from Politecnico di Torino, an M.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland’s Clark School of Engineering, and an MBA, with honors, in Finance, Accounting, and Entrepreneurship from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.
