Mr. Nono is a Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Financial Services Group. He has more than a decade of investment banking experience. Mr. Nono is based in the firm’s Chicago office.
Mr. Nono’s notable transactions include the sale of SpringFour to C&R Software, the sale of Wellworks For You to RiverGlade Capital, the sale of Navigate Wellbeing Solutions to McCarthy Capital, the sale of TSG to Advent International, the sale of Procare Software to Warburg Pincus, the sale of Paymetric to Vantiv, the sale of Trintech to Summit Partners, the sale of Velocity Solutions to HIG Capital, the acquisition of NMI by Francisco Partners, the acquisition and fairness opinion of Cantaloupe Systems by USA Technologies, the sale of REPAY to Corsair Capital, the divestiture of Beanstream from Digital River to Bambora, the sale of Meritus Payment Solutions and Global Merchant Advisors to Optimal Payments, the sale of Santa Barbara Tax Products Group to Green Dot, the lead left follow-on offerings and PIPE of USA Technologies, the initial public offering of Bill.com, and the initial public and follow-on offerings of EVO Payments.
Previously, Mr. Nono was a Director at Waller Helms Advisors, which was acquired by Houlihan Lokey in 2024. While there, he advised both public and private technology and tech-enabled companies with an emphasis on financial technology across the insurance, wealth management, banking, payments, and healthcare verticals. His transaction experience includes sellside and buyside M&A, capital raises, corporate divestitures, and strategic initiatives. Prior to Waller Helms Advisors, Mr. Nono worked in several investment banking roles for William Blair in its Technology practice, advising growing payments (integrated, unattended, gateway), banking technology, and software companies. Before William Blair, he worked in technology roles for T. Rowe Price and Affiliated Computer Services.
Mr. Nono holds a Laurea (bachelor’s degree), with First Class Honors, in Engineering from Politecnico di Torino, an MBA, with honors, in Finance, Accounting, and Entrepreneurship from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business, and an M.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland’s Clark School of Engineering.
