Mr. Vashishtha is a Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Portfolio Valuation and Fund Advisory Services practice within the firm’s Financial and Valuation Advisory business. He brings nearly a decade of valuation experience, providing an array of valuation advisory services to corporate clients and alternative asset managers, including private equity, venture capital, and credit funds. Mr. Vashishtha is based in the firm’s Gurugram office.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Vashishtha was a Manager in KPMG’s New York Portfolio Valuation practice, where he led engagement teams to provide mark-to-market valuations across diverse portfolios of illiquid and privately held securities, including preferred equity, common equity, loans, convertibles, warrants, derivatives, and SAFE instruments. He specialized in equity valuations, having worked with multiple private equity and venture capital funds.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Vashishtha worked at a boutique investment bank, where he provided advisory services to institutional clients, and at EY, where he focused on corporate business valuations.
Mr. Vashishtha holds an Integrated Engineering degree from BITS Pilani and an M.S. in Finance from the University of Rochester’s Simon Business School. He is a CFA charterholder and also holds the Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) certification.
