Mr. Lund is a Managing Director and Global Co-Head of Houlihan Lokey’s Private Funds Group. He is based in the firm’s London office.
Mr. Lund was formerly a Managing Partner of BearTooth Advisors, a private equity placement agent, which he co-founded in 2014. BearTooth quickly grew to be a leading boutique with a successful track record advising a variety of private equity and private credit managers prior to its acquisition by Houlihan Lokey in 2018.
Prior to co-founding BearTooth, Mr. Lund was a Director of Limited Partner Services for Advent International, where he led the firm’s project management function and focused on research and analysis initiatives to support marketing, fundraising, and investor relations activities. Prior to Advent, Mr. Lund was a Director in the Private Equity Funds Group at UBS, where he managed several fundraising assignments for leading private equity firms. Prior to UBS, Mr. Lund was a pilot in the UK Royal Air Force, flying Tornado fast jets and Puma helicopters in a number of operational theatres.
Mr. Lund has previously served as Chair of the British Private Equity & Venture Capital Association Investor Relations Advisory Group and co-authored a number of private equity-related publications.
Mr. Lund holds a B.S. in Insurance and Investment from City, University of London and an MBA from London Business School.
