Mr. Scheideman is a Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Financial Services Group. He is based in the firm’s New York office.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Scheideman was a Manager at KPMG in its Alternative Investments division, where he consulted with hedge funds on most efficient tax planning strategies and compliance. Before that, he worked at Novogradac & Company LLP, where he did tax planning and audits for real estate funds. Earlier, Mr. Scheideman was a Fund Accountant at Francisco Partners, a private equity firm. Prior to these roles, he was an English teacher in China, where he worked at various local public schools teaching children and adults.
Mr. Scheideman holds a B.B.A. in Accounting from Pacific Union College, an M.S. in Taxation from Golden Gate University, and an MBA from Cornell University. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
