Mr. Rashkes is Co-Head of U.S. Financial Services and Head of Insurance at Houlihan Lokey. With more than 25 years of experience in financial services, he has successfully executed a diverse range of transactions advising clients in the U.S. and around the world. Mr. Rashkes is based in the firm’s New York office.
Mr. Rashkes has been instrumental in advising multiple Fortune 500 and international companies, mid-caps, entrepreneurs, and private equity investors. His notable transactions include CIFG; New York Life; AIG; Alliant; WMIH; PHP; Athene’s sale to Apollo; State Auto’s sale to Liberty Mutual; Annexus’ sale to IMG; and advising the Special Committee of the Board of Athene in connection with the acquisition of VOYA’s Annuity Business. Additionally, Mr. Rashkes provided strategic counsel to MetLife in the spinoff of Brighthouse Financial and advised the Special Committee of the Board of FGL in connection with the sale to FNF.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey in 2015, Mr. Rashkes served as a Managing Director at Blackstone Advisory Partners, where he advised clients across the financial services and insurance sector. His career also includes a tenure at Deutsche Bank, focusing on multinational and cross-border transactions in the insurance industry. Earlier in Mr. Rashkes’ career, he spent eight years at Citi, holding various positions.
Mr. Rashkes earned a B.A. in Finance from Reichman University in Israel and holds an MBA from Columbia Business School.
