Mr.
Richardson is a Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Financial Advisory
Services business. He specializes in advising a wide range of alternative asset
investors, including hedge funds, private equity funds, business development
companies, limited partner investors, and corporations, on valuing illiquid
securities. Mr. Richardson has more than 10 years of financial and valuation
experience. He has valued businesses, intangible assets, and a wide range of
illiquid debt, equity, and derivative securities across numerous industries for
various purposes, including M&A transactions, financial reporting, tax, and
restructuring. Mr. Richardson is based in the firm’s San Francisco office.
Before
joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Richardson was a Director at Duff & Phelps and
part of the Portfolio Valuation service line. Prior to Duff & Phelps, he
was a Financial Analyst at Grail Partners, where he worked on sellside/buyside M&A
advisory engagements and was a deal team member for multiple private equity
investments out of Grail’s dedicated, high-net-worth private equity fund.
Additionally, he was responsible for monitoring and valuing portfolio companies
and their underlying securities.
Mr.
Richardson received a B.A. in Finance and Accounting from Franklin and Marshall
College.
