Mr. Donovan is a Senior Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Financial Restructuring Group and is based in the firm’s Dallas office. He has completed restructuring and distressed M&A transactions representing both debtors and creditors across a variety of industries.
Mr. Donovan’s recent restructuring experience includes Chesapeake Energy Corp., CEC Entertainment Inc., Utex Industries Inc., Jack Cooper Ventures, and Central Security Group (dba Alert 360 Home Security).
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Donovan was an Associate at Raymond James in its Energy Investment Banking Group, where he focused on M&A advisory and capital-raising transactions for oilfield service, midstream, and exploration and production companies. He also has previous energy and banking experience at Stifel and J.P. Morgan.
Mr. Donovan holds a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Colorado Boulder and is a CFA charterholder.
