Mr. Boermans is a Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Business Services Group. He has worked extensively across the education technology and services and human capital sectors, advising clients on sellside and buyside M&A advisory, debt and equity financings, valuations, and strategic alternatives engagements. Mr. Boermans is based in the firm’s London office.
Mr. Boermans’ transaction experience in the space includes advising ICS Learn on its sale to Primary Capital; BB Capital on the sale of The Rent Company to Waterland PE; ADG on the sale of Timing Uitzendbureau to Proman; Graphite Capital on its sale of Empowering Learning Group to THI Investments; and BPP on its acquisition of the Australian Institute of Business.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Boermans worked in RBC Capital Markets’ Industrials & Business Services team. Prior to that, he worked at Rothschild & Co., where he focused on sellside, buyside, and strategic advisory in the Benelux region. Mr. Boermans began his career in Robert W. Baird’s Global Investment Banking division, where he worked on sellside and buyside transactions in the tech and services space.
Mr. Boermans holds a BBA with a specialisation in Finance and Control from Hanze University and an MSc, with distinction, in Finance from Trinity College Dublin.
