Mr. Bucher is a Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Oil & Gas Group. He has more than a decade of industry experience in operations and finance and is based in the firm’s Houston office.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Bucher spent three years at Evercore Inc., where he focused on midstream M&A transactions and advised on several restructuring, capital advisory, and special situation assignments. His notable engagements there include Tallgrass, Calumet, Nextera Energy Partners, Kimbell Royalty Partners, EnLink, Enbridge, and Caprock, among others. Before that, Mr. Bucher spent almost two years at Citigroup Inc., advising E&P and midstream clients in strategic M&A, A&D, and capital markets transactions, including companies such as Tapstone, Sanchez, and Plains All American, among others. He began his career as a Production Unit Manager and Production Engineer at Ascend Performance Materials LLC and Celanese Corp., where he managed operations of various petrochemical facilities.
Mr. Bucher holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
