Mr. Knopp is a Senior Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Oil & Gas Group. He joined the firm in 2019 with nearly five years of M&A and capital markets experience in the energy industry. He is based in the firm’s Houston office.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Knopp spent nearly two years at Jefferies, where he focused on E&P M&A and A&D transactions and advised on several private capital markets assignments.
Prior to Jefferies, he spent three years at Deutsche Bank, advising E&P, midstream, and downstream clients in strategic M&A, A&D, and capital markets transactions.
Notable companies advised include Encino Acquisition Partners, Enable Midstream Partners, NGL Energy Partners, Samson Resources, Shell, TPG Pace Energy, and Oiltanking Partners, among others.
Mr. Knopp holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Rochester and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business.
