Mr. Briggs is a Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Oil & Gas Group. He has more than a decade of experience in reservoir engineering, corporate planning, and investment banking advisory roles. Mr. Briggs is based in the firm’s Houston office.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Briggs was a Director at Evercore. Before that, he was at Linn Energy, serving in a variety of reservoir and operations roles. Mr. Briggs’ technical career began at Citation Oil & Gas, where he focused on the exploitation and development of mature assets. Prior technical assignments include assets in the Permian Basin, Texas Panhandle, Los Angeles Basin, Southern Oklahoma, and the Rocky Mountain regions. Mr. Briggs has also worked on a variety of assets, from legacy waterfloods and enhanced oil recovery projects to unconventional development.
Mr. Briggs holds a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
