Mr. Goudzwaard is a Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Financial Restructuring Group. Since joining the firm in 2009, he has worked on numerous restructuring and distressed engagements, advising both debtors and creditors across a wide range of industries. He is based in the Singapore office.
Mr. Goudzwaard’s transaction experience includes working across various geographies and jurisdictions in Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and North America, including China, Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, Singapore, Bahrain, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Iceland, Russia, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, and the United States. His disclosable engagements include Algeco Scotsman, Arcapita, Biffa Group, Capmark Financial Group, China Fishery, China Shanshui Cement, ETA Star, FESCO, Four Seasons Health Care, Investment Dar, KrisEnergy, Las Vegas Monorail, Lehman Brothers, Malaysia Airlines, Pacific International Lines, Punch Taverns, Reliance Communications, Rolta, Smurfit-Stone Container Corp., and Suzlon Energy.
Mr. Goudzwaard has also worked in Houlihan Lokey’s London and Minneapolis offices, advising on both in- and out-of-court restructurings.
Mr. Goudzwaard holds a B.B.A., with emphases in Finance and Accounting, from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
