Mr. Pirie is a Senior Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s FinTech Group. He is based in the firm’s London office.
Mr. Pirie was an Analyst with Quayle Munro prior to its acquisition by Houlihan Lokey in 2018 and has over three years of financial-institutions-specific experience. He joined Quayle Munro in 2015, having previously worked for Aberdeen Asset Management as part of its Financial Reporting team.
At Quayle Munro, Mr. Pirie was involved in a number of notable transactions, including the sale of BlueStep Bank to EQT; the merger of Oaktree Capital’s portfolio company Bellpenny with Ascot Lloyd; the sale of Omni Capital Retail Finance Ltd to Castle Trust Capital plc; the sales of Target Group to Tech Mahindra Ltd and Nostrum Group to Equiniti Group plc; and the capital raises for Starling Bank and WeSwap.
Mr. Pirie graduated from the University of Oxford with a degree in History from Hertford College.
