Mr. Kim is a Senior Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Industrials Group. He is based in the firm’s Los Angeles office.
Mr. Kim possesses more than a decade of M&A advisory and investment experience focused primarily on the broader industrial and defense sectors. He has executed numerous advisory and capital markets transactions, including public mergers and acquisitions, private company acquisitions and sales, corporate divestitures, spinoffs, takeover defense, fairness opinions, and capital raises.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Kim was a member of Lazard’s Shareholder Advisory practice, advising clients on shareholder activism defense, unsolicited takeover attempts, and other corporate governance matters. Before that, he sourced and evaluated investment opportunities for Loews Corp. and its subsidiaries. Mr. Kim began his career at J.P. Morgan as an Investment Banking Analyst within the Global Chemicals Group.
Mr. Kim holds a B.S. in Economics and Finance from New York University.
