Mr. Cessna is a Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Financial and Valuation Advisory business. He specializes in portfolio valuations with an emphasis on valuing illiquid debt, equity, and derivative investments for a wide range of alternative asset investors, including hedge funds, private equity funds, business development companies, limited partner investors, and corporations. Mr. Cessna is based in the firm’s Atlanta office.
Before joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Cessna was a Senior Associate in the Financial Reporting and Assurance practice of Bennett Thrasher LLP, where he focused on financial statement audits and M&A due diligence. Industries of focus included private equity, technology, healthcare, and real estate.
Mr. Cessna holds a B.S.B.A. in Accountancy from Auburn University and an M.S. in Accountancy from Wake Forest University. He is a Certified Public Accountant in Georgia and a CFA charterholder.
