Mr. Jones is a Senior Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s national Accounting and Financial Reporting Advisory service offering. He advises clients on complex financial reporting matters that arise in the M&A process and in debt and equity capital raises. Mr. Jones is based in the firm’s New York office.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Jones worked within EY’s client-facing technical accounting advisory practice, where he focused on complex technical matters related to financial instruments, including debt/equity transactions, derivatives, hedging, and securitizations. He also advised clients on financial reporting matters related to bankruptcies and fresh-start accounting. Before that, Mr. Jones worked at the Governmental Accounting Standards Board, where he focused on technical topics such as revenue recognition, conduit debt arrangements, and financial statement disclosures.
Mr. Jones holds a B.S. and a Master of Accountancy from Brigham Young University. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of New York.
