Mr. Lunny is a Managing Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Australian Corporate Finance business and is based in the firm’s Sydney office. With experience spanning multiple industry sectors, including healthcare, consumer, retail, and general industrials, he provides strategic advice principally in relation to mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and company reorganizations.
Before joining Houlihan Lokey in March 2020, Mr. Lunny served as Head of Corporate Finance - Advisory at Wilsons for two years, prior to which he spent 11 years at J.P. Morgan, across its London, Sydney, and Melbourne offices. He started his career at Goldman Sachs and then Citigroup, where he spent seven years working with a broad range of industrial clients.
Throughout his career, Mr. Lunny has advised on a range of industry-defining M&A transactions across a range of buyside and sellside situations. His experience includes both public markets and private treaty transactions.
Mr. Lunny holds a Bachelor of Engineering and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne and also has a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investments.
