Mr. Glad is a Managing Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Financial and Valuation Advisory business, focusing on valuations for financial reporting, tax, and strategic purposes, including business valuations, purchase price allocations, and intangible asset valuations. He is based in the firm’s Chicago office.
Mr. Glad has more than two decades of experience providing valuation and financial advisory services to private and publicly traded companies. Before joining Houlihan Lokey, he was a Senior Analyst in the financial analysis and compliance team at American Capital Strategies, where he performed business valuations for portfolio companies and also performed financial due diligence for potential acquisitions. Earlier, Mr. Glad was a Senior Associate in the valuation group at Huron Consulting Group, where he performed business and intangible valuations for litigation, tax, merger, and transaction purposes. He also spent two years in KPMG’s transaction services group, where he advised private equity clients on potential acquisitions.
Mr. Glad holds a B.S. with concentrations in Accounting, Finance, and Management from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. He also earned the designation of Certified Public Accountant and is a licensed CPA in Illinois with an Accreditation in Business Valuation (ABV) by the AICPA. Mr. Glad is also an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA), certified in business valuation, of the American Society of Appraisers.
