Mr. Kim is a Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Financial Sponsors Group. He specializes in financial restructuring, M&A, and financing transactions, and his experience spans numerous industries. He is based in the firm’s New York office.
Mr. Kim has advised debtors and creditors on a range of in-court and out-of-court restructuring transactions. His notable transactions include DISH/Echostar, Affinion Group, Dex One, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, RSA Security, The Weinstein Company, Veritas, and Waypoint Leasing.
Prior to rejoining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Kim worked at THL Credit, an alternative credit fund specializing in debt and equity investments in middle-market companies.
Mr. Kim holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
