Mr. Riemenschneider is a Senior Advisor in Houlihan Lokey’s Corporate Finance business. He works alongside the firm’s Automotive, Truck, and Automotive Technologies team to help define market strategy, identify potential investors, and position clients’ businesses. Mr. Riemenschneider leverages his first-hand experiences as an automotive technologies executive, with extensive knowledge of the market and depth of relationships to advise clients in buyside and sellside transactions. He is based in the firm’s Paris office.
Mr. Riemenschneider is a decades-long veteran in the automotive industry, coming from a Detroit-area family with more than 90 years of history in the industry. Throughout his career, he has held senior leadership positions in the U.S. and Europe, founded and ran his own automotive software businesses, and was the CEO of a private-equity-backed automotive software business, scaling the business globally with leading OEMs and setting up operations in several European, Asian, and African markets.
Mr. Riemenschneider has extensive deal experience, primarily in automotive deep tech (e.g., AV, ADAS, EV, sensor fusion, BMS, sustainable materials, connected vehicles, etc.). He is currently on the board of directors of several auto-centric assets and chairs two London-based private-equity-backed automotive software businesses. Having been through several transactions as an operator himself, Mr. Riemenschneider is uniquely positioned to advise businesses and investors.
Mr. Riemenschneider holds a B.A. from Eastern Michigan University and an MBA from the University of Detroit.
