Mr. Crowley is a Managing Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Technology Group. He brings more than 15 years of investment banking and operating experience to the firm, specializing in advising founders, executives, and investors within the consumer subscription software (CSS), consumer technology, and adtech sectors. Mr. Crowley is recognized for his deep sector knowledge, entrepreneurial perspective, and proven execution capabilities. He is based in the firm’s San Francisco office.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Crowley was a Partner at GP Bullhound, where he led the firm’s Consumer Technology practice from 2018 to 2026. While there, he advised on numerous high-profile M&A and capital markets transactions, cementing his reputation as a leading advisor in the consumer subscription space. Notable deals include Runna’s sale to Strava, advising on the strategic acquisition of the popular running app by the fitness tracking giant; Bliss Point Media’s sale to Tinuiti, guiding the acquisition of the performance marketing agency to enhance Tinuiti’s streaming intelligence capabilities; AllTrails’ sale to Spectrum Equity, facilitating the acquisition of the premier outdoor recreation platform; and Flo Health’s $200 million Series C, advising the leading female health app on its capital raise from General Atlantic.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Crowley held roles at Lazard and Antares Capital, where he executed middle-market M&A and debt transactions. He also has operating experience, having served as the CFO at an edtech software startup focused on financial management and driving growth.
Mr. Crowley holds a B.S. from Xavier University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Illinois.
