Mr. Jourdan is a Managing Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Accounting and Financial Reporting Advisory service offering, with more than 15 years of experience serving clients in the U.S. and internationally. He is dedicated to providing the firm’s strategic and financial sponsor clients with accounting and financial reporting advisory services in conjunction with private and public market M&A, divestitures, and financial restructurings as well as accessing the global capital markets through private and public debt and equity raises. Mr. Jourdan is based in the firm’s Chicago office.
As part of Houlihan Lokey’s Transaction Advisory Services practice, Mr. Jourdan advises clients through the accounting and financial reporting complexities of deals, including U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and other international GAAP matters as well as SEC reporting matters; provides practical advice in the context of office of the CFO support both pre-close and post-close; and assists clients in executing domestic and international transactions. He provides specific advice on registration statements and offering memoranda, carve-out financial statements, purchase accounting, pro forma financial statements, GAAP conversions, and other technical accounting topics, such as revenue recognition, segment reporting, and consolidations.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Jourdan served as a Director at PwC. Before that, he was a Postgraduate Technical Assistant at the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB).
Mr. Jourdan holds a B.S. in Accounting and an M.A. in Accountancy from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Illinois and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
