Mr. Munshi is a Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Financial Restructuring Group, with a decade of experience advising clients on financial restructuring, liability management, distressed M&A, and capital raising. He is based in the firm’s London office.
Over the course of his career, Mr. Munshi has been involved in a number of restructuring transactions in the U.S., Europe, and the Middle East, advising companies, creditors, governments, and sponsors. His disclosable transactions at Houlihan Lokey include Cabonline and Yunneng Wind. Before joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Munshi’s disclosable transactions include Garrett Motion, the Government of Puerto Rico, Ligado LLC, NMC Health, Windstream, Hermitage Offshore, Approach Resources, Danaos Corporation, Pacific Drilling, International Automotive Components, Sprint Industrial, Orexigen Therapeutics, Pernix Therapeutics, Bonanza Creek Energy, California Resources Corporation, and Energy Future Holdings.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Munshi was a Director in the Restructuring Group at Perella Weinberg Partners. He began his career at Morgan Stanley.
Mr. Munshi holds a BS in Finance from the University of Maryland and an MBA from Yale School of Management.
