Mr. Topp is a Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Financial Restructuring Group. He has nearly two decades of experience advising company and creditor clients in financial restructuring, capital raising, M&A, structured finance, and corporate strategy. Mr. Topp is based in the firm’s Sydney office.
Mr. Topp’s notable capital markets and financial restructuring engagements include Healthscope, Callide Power Station, Natures Care, RUC Mining Contractors, GenesisCare, Kestrel Coal, Basslink, Sunraysia Solar Farm, Wiggins Island Coal Export Terminal, Bis Industries, BrisConnections, Pacific Brands, Network Ten Pty Ltd., and Reliance Rail.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Topp led a team of strategists and corporate finance professionals who developed, assessed, and implemented strategic initiatives, business restructures, acquisitions, and investments for Macquarie Group’s Banking and Financial Services (BFS) Group. He has also advised clients on corporate restructurings, public and private capital raising, private treaty and public market M&A, and public-private partnerships across all industries with Fort Street Advisers and UBS Investment Bank. Mr. Topp has experience executing infrastructure, leveraged, and event-driven structured finance transactions across global debt markets as well as developing and managing foreign exchange and cash strategies and exposures.
Mr. Topp holds a B.S. in Financial Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Sydney.
