Mr. Gibson is a Managing Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Transaction Advisory Services practice and a leader in the business services division. He is based in the firm’s Houston office.
Mr. Gibson has nearly two decades of experience in leading and coordinating global and domestic transaction-related engagements for private equity and corporate buyers in connection with mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, financial buyside, and vendor due diligence. He has extensive international experience working for buyers and sellers in corporate transactions and private equity transactions. Mr. Gibson has worked within the following industries: oil and gas services, environmental, education, telecommunication, professional services, software, transportation, manufacturing, construction, and retail.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Gibson worked with KPMG’s Transaction Services team in Houston, Texas, from 2011 to 2023, after spending almost six years with KPMG Transaction Services in Frankfurt, Germany. Before he joined the Transaction Services team, he spent four years in the U.K. audit department.
Mr. Gibson holds a B.S. in Mathematics from Loughborough University and is an Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) Chartered Accountant.
