Mr. Maggon is an Assistant Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Accounting and Financial Reporting Advisory team within the firm’s Transaction Advisory Services practice, where he gives insights on financial reporting matters involving IFRS, U.S. GAAP, and other international GAAP matters. He has more than a decade of experience serving clients in various geographies. Mr. Maggon is based in the firm’s Gurugram office.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Maggon served as a Manager in EY’s Financial Accounting Advisory Services team. Before that, he worked in HSBC and Religare in the IT sector.
Mr. Maggon has assisted clients in drafting accounting policies, position papers, GAAP conversion engagements, benchmarking exercises, and financial reporting under IFRS and U.K. GAAP. He also has experience in assisting clients with end-to-end implementation of new accounting standards, such as revenue recognition and lease accounting, covering all phases, including diagnostics, quantification, and supporting disclosure requirements.
Mr. Maggon led EY’s offshore Managed Consolidation and Reporting Services solution. He has experience in engaging with high-value global clients in the banking and energy sectors on finance transformation projects. He was also involved in the implementation of regulatory projects, such as IBOR and operational resilience.
Mr. Maggon earned a B.Com. degree with honors in Finance and Accounting from Delhi University and is a qualified Chartered Accountant in India.
