Ms. De Guzman is a Senior Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s national Accounting and Financial Reporting Advisory service offering within the firm’s Financial and Valuation Advisory business. She has deep experience providing advisory services on complex transactional, integration operational, and technical finance and accounting issues. Ms. De Guzman is based in the firm's New York office.
Ms. De Guzman has helped companies through capital markets transactions, specifically evaluating financial reporting requirements and preparing offering documents for a sale (e.g., SPAC) or IPO. She also has extensive experience in technical accounting matters, including providing accounting change services to private and publicly traded companies.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Ms. De Guzman worked for Stout, where she partnered with Private Equity and its portfolio companies with respect to the Office of the CFO (OCFO). While there, she assisted the OCFO in solving complex problems across the finance and accounting functions with respect to technology, processes, people, and reporting. Beyond the OCFO, Ms. De Guzman also assisted acquirers and targets through post-merger activities (i.e., the “first 100 days”) with respect to finance integration and transformation. Before that, she worked within KPMG’s Deal Advisory team.
Ms. De Guzman holds a B.S. from Ramapo College of New Jersey. She is a licensed CPA in the state of New York.
