Mr. Wilson is a Managing Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Power & Utilities Group. During his more than 25 years of investment banking experience, he has completed transactions totaling over $15 billion in enterprise value. He is based in the firm’s New York office.
Before joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Wilson was a Managing Director at Whitehall & Co., where he helped lead the establishment of the renewable energy investment banking practice. Notable transactions that Mr. Wilson led while at Whitehall include the sale of the Horse Creek and Electra wind farms for Starwood Energy; the sale of the Blue Mound Energy Center solar-plus-storage project for Indeck Energy; and the sale of an interest in the Volney-Marcy transmission line for ArcLight Capital Partners.
Prior to Whitehall, Mr. Wilson was a Managing Director at McManus & Miles, where he focused on structured finance and power asset M&A advisory. While at McManus & Miles, he led the financings of the Alta Wind Phase I and Alta Wind Phases II-IV projects for Terra-Gen Power. Earlier in his career, Mr. Wilson worked in the Global Power & Utilities Group at Merrill Lynch and the Specialized Finance Group at Bank of America.
Mr. Wilson holds a B.A. in Economics, with honors, from Colgate University and an MBA, with honors, from Columbia Business School.
