Mr. Williams is a Senior Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Real Estate, Lodging & Leisure Group, which specializes in M&A advisory, capital raising, and other strategic advisory assignments for public and private real estate companies, lenders, and investors. He is based in the firm’s New York office.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Williams worked for Sera Global, a placement agent, where he was responsible for institutional investor coverage as well as advising real estate operators and managers on capital sourcing strategies, vehicle structuring, and equity placement. Before that, he worked in the Private Funds Group at UBS, where he worked with real estate sponsors, owners, and developers across all property sectors to identify and structure joint ventures and other bespoke private capital solutions. Mr. Williams started his investment banking career in UBS’ Real Estate, Lodging & Leisure Investment Banking Group, advising the firm's real estate and gaming clients on M&A, strategic advisory, and capital markets transactions. Before entering investment banking, he worked for a commercial real estate investment firm dedicated to land investments in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
Mr. Williams holds a B.A. in Economics from Trinity University and an MBA with concentrations in Corporate Finance and Real Estate from Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
