Mr. Conly is a Senior Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Aerospace, Defense & Government practice. He has 18 years of M&A and investment banking experience, primarily focused on advising clients in the aerospace, defense, and government services industries. Mr. Conly is based in the firm’s Washington, D.C., office.
Over the course of his career, Mr. Conly has advised a broad range of clients, including publicly traded companies, entrepreneurs, and financial sponsors. He has executed transactions with leading companies in the sector, including CACI, Engility, General Dynamics, Kratos, and Mercury Systems, as well as private equity groups such as AE Industrial Partners, American Industrial Partners, Arlington Capital, Oaktree Capital, OceanSound Partners, and Sagewind Capital.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Conly was a Director at Truist Securities, focused on the execution of M&A transactions in the defense and government sectors. He started his investment banking career within the Aerospace & Defense group at Jefferies & Company in 2006, based in Washington, D.C., where he worked for nine years. In addition to his investment banking career, Mr. Conly served as Director of Special Projects for Constellis Holdings, playing a leading role in the company’s M&A, investor relations, forecasting, and treasury functions. During this time, he assisted the company in its 2016 sale to Apollo Global Management, its 2017 acquisition of Centerra, and the associated syndication of its debt securities.
Mr. Conly graduated with honors with a B.S. in Commerce from the University of Virginia.
