Mr. Talikoti is a Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Corporate Valuation Advisory Services (CVAS) practice within the firm’s Financial and Valuation Advisory business. He leads CVAS client services in India and across the broader Asia region and works closely with the U.S.-based CVAS and Transaction Opinions teams to support client delivery needs. Mr. Talikoti has nearly two decades of valuation and transaction advisory experience and has advised clients in sectors such as sports, technology, media, and entertainment, and consumer products. He has provided advisory services to several sports teams, leagues, and sports-related entities, including teams in the EPL and the IPL, sports consulting firms, and sports broadcasters such as Star Sports and ESPN. Mr. Talikoti also leads Houlihan Lokey’s popular thought leadership study on IPL brand valuation. He is based in the firm’s Mumbai office.
Mr. Talikoti is regularly sought out for expert commentary on sports business and valuation matters on behalf of Houlihan Lokey, appearing on CNBC and in print across Forbes, Reuters, and The Economist.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Talikoti was with Duff & Phelps (now Kroll), where he was responsible for valuation advisory services operations in the Hyderabad region and assisted in the firm’s restructuring practice. He also spent a year in the firm’s Singapore office. Mr. Talikoti began his career as an Analyst with J Sainsbury PLC in Leeds and London.
Mr. Talikoti holds a B.B.A. from Karnatak University and a master’s degree in Finance from the University of Leeds. He is a chartered member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).
