Mr. Hauss is a Managing Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Capital Solutions Group. He is based in the firm’s Munich office.
Previously, Mr. Hauss was a Founding Partner at Mellum Capital, which was acquired by Houlihan Lokey in 2026. Before that, he joined Brookfield Financial in 2011 as a Partner and served as Global President between 2016 and 2021. Mr. Hauss started his career at Hypo Bank in New York and subsequently progressed to leadership positions with RBS in Munich and London, including as Head of Northern Europe for Real Estate Finance.
Mr. Hauss holds a Master of Business (Property) from the University of South Australia and is a Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
