
Ms. Cheng is a Managing Director and Co-Head of Houlihan Lokey’s Fund Opinions practice. She serves on the firm’s Financial and Valuation Advisory Executive Committee, Fairness Opinion Review Committee, and Capital Adequacy Review Committee.
With three decades of experience, Ms. Cheng advises on complex valuation and governance matters. Her clients include financial sponsors, LPACs, institutional investors, and portfolio companies in various industries across multiple asset classes. Ms. Cheng provides financial and transaction opinions for secondaries, cross-fund transactions such as portfolio company mergers and asset sales, investments, financings, recapitalizations, and other business transactions.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Ms. Cheng was an Assistant Vice President at MBIA Asset Management. Earlier, she served as a Corporate Relationship Manager at HSBC in Hong Kong.
Ms. Cheng received a B.B.A. with honors from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and an MBA from Yale University. She also holds the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst and is a member of the CFA Institute.
