Mr. Hasumi is a Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Industrials Group. He is based in the firm’s Tokyo office.
With more than a decade of experience in M&A advisory, Mr. Hasumi has supported a broad range of transactions, guiding clients from deal origination through to execution. He has particular expertise in the automotive, automotive electronics, semiconductor, and electronic components sectors.
Previously, Mr. Hasumi served as a Vice President in the Automotive & Technology team at GCA Corporation, which was acquired by Houlihan Lokey in 2021. At GCA, he led transactions in the automotive and technology sectors. Earlier in his career, Mr. Hasumi was part of the Technology, Media & Telecom (TMT) coverage team in the Investment Banking Division of Mizuho Securities.
Mr. Hasumi holds a B.A. in Law from Keio University.
