Mr. Maya is a Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Consumer Group. He is based in the firm’s Tokyo office.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey in 2023, Mr. Maya was in the corporate advisory department of Mizuho Bank and engaged in M&A advisory work from origination to execution, focusing on BtoC businesses such as restaurants, training institutions, and voucher retailers. In addition to M&A, he also engaged in a wide range of advisory and support services such as creating financial and management strategy plans for financial institutions as well as IR documentation, including medium-term business plans, financial results, and briefing materials.
Mr. Maya holds a B.A. from Keio University’s Faculty of Law.
