Mr. Khan is a Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Corporate Valuation Advisory Services practice and serves as the IP Valuation Advisory Services Lead. With more than a decade of experience in valuation, modeling, and consulting, he specializes in assessing and maximizing the value of intangible assets across diverse industries. Mr. Khan’s expertise spans IP valuation, strategic advisory, licensing agreement modeling, litigation support, NIL, and data valuation. He is committed to delivering tailored solutions that align with each client’s unique objectives, ensuring their IP assets are effectively utilized to drive business success focusing on growth, financing, and competitive advantage. Mr. Khan is based in the firm’s New York office.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Khan was a Senior Director in Aon’s IP Solutions practice, where he played a pivotal role in evaluating IP portfolios for the benefit of businesses, insurers, and investors, and enabling borrowers to secure IP-backed debt. He also co-led its Portfolio Monitoring workstream, providing risk assessments and financial performance insights for key stakeholders.
Previously, Mr. Khan spent five years in Aon’s Strategic Advisory practice and two years in Aon’s M&A Solutions practice, advising clients on complex valuation and transaction strategies. Before that, he was a fixed income trader at Ronin Capital, a leading proprietary trading firm in Chicago.
Mr. Khan holds a B.A. in Economics, magna cum laude, from Lawrence University.
