Mr. Khan is a Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Corporate Valuation Advisory Services practice. He has more than a decade of valuation, modeling, and consulting experience. His expertise includes intellectual property (IP) valuation, financial modeling and analysis, project management, and strategic planning. Mr. Khan is also proficient in leading change management initiatives and total rewards optimization projects. He is based in the firm’s New York office.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Khan worked at Aon in its IP Solutions practice for nearly five years. In his role, he helped companies evaluate their portfolio of IP assets and enabled borrowers to secure IP-backed debt capital financing. Mr. Khan sought to bring clarity and understanding around assessing and valuing the intangibles asset class for the benefit of businesses, insurers, and investors. During this time, he also co-led the Portfolio Monitoring workstream effort to assess risks and inform key stakeholders about the financial performance of closed engagements. Before joining Aon’s IP Solutions practice, Mr. Khan spent five years in Aon’s Strategic Advisory practice and, before that, an additional two years in Aon’s M&A Solutions practice. Previous to Aon, he worked as a fixed income trader at Ronin Capital, a large, Chicago-based proprietary trading firm.
Mr. Khan holds a B.A. in Economics, magna cum laude, from Lawrence University.
