Mr. Mitchell is a Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Financial Sponsors Group. He is based in the firm’s London office.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Mitchell spent a decade as a private equity investor, in which he sourced and executed a number of successful investments across sectors in the middle market. He started his private equity career at H.I.G. Capital and subsequently led origination for Longacre Group, an H.I.G. Capital spinout, and Navora Capital across the UK, Ireland, Benelux, and Nordics. Mr. Mitchell has also spent time in corporate finance at the Wilton Group and led middle-market private equity coverage for KPMG in the UK.
Mr. Mitchell holds an LLB from Leeds University and an MA in International Relations with Islamic Finance from Durham University.
