Managing Director

Mr. Page is a Managing Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Houlihan Lokey’s Financial Services Group. He has nearly two decades of experience covering and advising financial institutions on mergers and acquisitions, fairness opinions, public and private debt and equity financings, and financial restructuring transactions. Mr. Page is based in the firm’s New York office.

Since joining Houlihan Lokey in 2009, Mr. Page has been involved in a variety of specialty finance, asset management, and government-related transactions, notably advising Franklin BSP Realty Trust in its merger with Capstead Mortgage to form the fourth largest publicly-traded commercial mortgage REIT; Apollo/Athene in the sale of AmeriHome to Western Alliance Bank for $1 billion; MFA Financial in its $500 million COVID-19-related recapitalization; Ditech Mortgage on its Chapter 11 sale to New Residential; Triangle Capital in the sale of its ~$1 billion investment portfolio and simultaneous externalization transaction; and the Special Committee of Apollo Commercial Real Estate Finance on its $615 million acquisition of Apollo Residential Mortgage. In addition, he has advised on M&A transactions related to NewStar Financial, Fifth Street Asset Management, the external management contracts of Realty Finance Trust and BDCA, and MetWest, as well as the Chapter 11 bankruptcies of Walter Investment Management and ResCap. Mr. Page also advised the U.S. Treasury with respect to the management and disposition of its CPP bank investments under TARP.

Before joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Page was a Vice President in Morgan Stanley’s Financial Institutions Group in New York. While at Morgan Stanley, he was involved in several notable transactions, including acting as advisor to the U.S. Treasury on the $5.4 trillion conservatorship of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Mr. Page began his career as an equity research analyst covering financial institutions at Raymond James & Associates.

Mr. Page earned a B.S. from the University of Florida and an MBA from Duke University. He holds the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst.
