Mr. Shaber is a Senior Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Technology Group, specializing in digital media and entertainment. His experience includes buyside and sellside M&A transactions, capital raises, shareholder activism advisory, and strategic alternatives assessments. Mr. Shaber has successfully managed and executed M&A transactions for publicly traded and privately held companies across a variety of industries. He is based in the firm’s New York office.
Mr. Shaber’s recent experience includes the sale of Collectors Universe to an investor group led by entrepreneur and sports card collector Nat Turner, D1 Capital Partners L.P., and Cohen Private Ventures, LLC; the sale of Apex Global Brands to Galaxy Universal LLC; and the merger of Danimer Scientific with Live Oak Acquisition Corp.
Before joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Shaber was a Senior Associate at Citigroup in the Global Communications Investment Banking practice. Previously, he worked at UBS as an Associate Director in the Prime Brokerage unit managing hedge fund client relationships.
Mr. Shaber holds a B.B.A. from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and an MBA from the Yale School of Management.
