Mr. Caussin is a Managing Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Business Services Group, where he covers professional services (notably accounting, HR, and social services and advisory) as well as education and transport. He has more than two decades of M&A and corporate finance experience advising private equity sponsors, family-owned companies, and listed corporates. Mr. Caussin is based in the firm’s Paris office.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Caussin spent six years at Audere Partners (operating under the Natixis Partners brand), which Houlihan Lokey acquired a controlling interest in 2026, advising on sponsor-led buyouts, exits, and capital reorganizations. He was previously a Director at KPMG Corporate Finance and earlier spent eight years in M&A at Aforge Finance (latterly Degroof Petercam). Mr. Caussin began his career at KPMG Transaction Services in 2004.
In professional services, Mr. Caussin’s experience centers on accounting, advisory, and HR services, advising founding partners and private equity sponsors on primary LBOs, consolidation build-ups, and carve-outs. It extends to other regulated or franchise-driven sectors in consolidation, such as medical laboratories and insurance distribution, and to transport, where he has advised operators and family shareholders on disposals and cross-border acquisitions.
Beyond business services, Mr. Caussin’s experience spans industrials, consumer, and energy and infrastructure services, encompassing LBOs and exits, shareholder reorganizations for family-owned groups, and carve-outs for listed corporates.
Mr. Caussin holds a master’s degree in Financial Engineering from Emlyon Business School.
