Mr. Nichols is a Managing Director in Houlihan Lokey’s global Technology Group. He focuses exclusively on the digital infrastructure sector and primarily spends his time on fiber/broadband, wireless infrastructure, as well as wireless/spectrum. Mr. Nichols has advised on M&A and capital-raising transactions throughout the digital infrastructure sector for nearly a decade. He has worked with companies ranging in size from early-stage to large corporate clients such as AT&T, where he was an exclusive advisor on the divestiture of its U.S. wireless tower assets. Although associated with the firm’s Boston office, Mr. Nichols is primarily based in Denver.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Nichols was a Managing Director at Alpina Capital, an independent M&A advisory firm that provides a range of advisory services to clients in the telecommunications sector. While there, he led the firm’s efforts in fiber infrastructure, wireless infrastructure, and data centers. Earlier, Mr. Nichols held roles at Michaud Capital and Cadiz Asset Management.
Mr. Nichols has spoken on panels at leading digital infrastructure conferences such as WIA’s Connect X and Mobile World Congress Americas.
Mr. Nichols holds a B.A. in International Political Economy from Colorado College and also attended the University of Cape Town in South Africa.
