Mr. Xu is a Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Financial Restructuring Group and has worked on a wide range of restructuring transactions across the U.S. and emerging markets. He is based in the firm’s Hong Kong office.
Mr. Xu has advised on several high-profile offshore debt restructurings of Chinese real estate developers, including Country Garden Holdings Company Ltd. and Sino-Ocean Group Holding Ltd.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Xu was based in New York and worked for the Turnaround and Restructuring group of AlixPartners.
Mr. Xu holds an MBA from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and a bachelor’s degree from Beijing Foreign Studies University. He is proficient in Mandarin, English, and Japanese.
