Mr. D’Agostino is a Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Portfolio Valuation and Fund Advisory Services practice. He has more than a decade of experience in fixed income valuation, focusing on a variety of structured products, consumer loan pools, commercial mortgage servicing rights, and other illiquid credit investments such as charged-off debt pools. Mr. D’Agostino specializes in providing valuations of illiquid securities for financial reporting and transaction advisory. He has experience in finance and securitization with a range of businesses, including banking institutions, insurance companies, Big Four accounting firms, and hedge funds. Mr. D’Agostino is based in the firm’s New York office.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. D’Agostino was a Senior Manager in Ernst & Young’s (EY) Transaction Advisory Services group, where he assisted the deal advisory and audit practices. While there, he advised buyside clients on the credit risk and underwriting practices associated with various fixed income portfolios core to the business operations of the seller and assisted EY audit teams in the corroboration of estimated values for complex structured product and consumer loan pool investments of audit clients. Mr. D’Agostino started his career as an Auditor at Grant Thornton.
Mr. D’Agostino holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts’ Isenberg School of Management and an MBA from Syracuse University’s Whitman School of Management.
