Jordan Mendel

Vice President

Mr. Mendel is a Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Business Services Group. He provides M&A and other financial services to clients across multiple verticals within the business services sector. He is based in the firm’s New York office.

Before joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Mendel worked at Centerview Partners (an independent investment bank), where he provided financial advisory and M&A services to companies across a variety of industries. Select experience includes advising Sprint’s Transaction Committee of the Board of Directors on its announced sale to T-Mobile; Netafim on its sale to Mexichem; Send Word Now on its sale to Emergency Communications Network (a portfolio company of Veritas Capital); Cognizant on its cooperation agreement with activist investor Elliott Management; and Pfizer on its acquisition of Medivation.

Prior to joining Centerview Partners, Mr. Mendel was a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions Group at Citi, where he focused on executing M&A transactions and activism defense across a variety of industries. He previously worked at Booz Allen Hamilton in the Strategy and Organization division.

Mr. Mendel holds a B.S.E. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, an M.S. in Chemical Engineering from Columbia University, and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
